Do I Really Need to Include Sea Level Rise in Design?: Why?, How?, How Much?, ...What do I do about it?

Sea levels are slowly rising along most coasts of the U.S. and around the world, and the rate of sea level rise is expected to increase significantly this century. This session will explore the methods used to determine how sea level rise should be considered in the design of coastal infrastructure today as well as examine two case studies on the application of sea level rise assessments and adaptation strategies for sea level rise.
