Tailored to the interests of transportation and development professionals and enthusiasts, the Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) of ASCE has organized two separate programs as follows:

APM - ATS V-Tech
Wednesday, September 16, 11:00 am – 2:30 pm

Building on ASCE’s 35 year old legacy of global conferences in automated mobility, APM-ATS V-Tech will include keynotes on Automated People Movers (APM) and Automated Transit Systems (ATS) market and deployment around the world, including a special talk on the future of automation. This will be followed by five (5) interactive presentations discussing deployment case-studies and key challenges and opportunities in the APM-ATS arena.

The program for T&DI V-Tech has been designed to cover the pressing issues along the entire spectrum of management and operation of transportation systems. The program includes keynote speeches on public transit, mobility on demand, and automation for smart cities, followed by State DOT and industry leadership panels covering public and private sector perspectives on resilience in transportation and development. The panels will follow a deep dive through five (5) interactive presentations covering resilience in transit, pavements, freight, airports, and bike/ped.

The Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) is a specialty membership organization focused on transportation and development professionals and the transportation and development industry. It is one of the American Society of Civil Engineers' 9 specialty Institutes.
